GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES

All Classes are an hour in length. Class format is 8-12 minutes of warm-up and stretch, followed by usually 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise, followed by 15 minutes of toning and/or strength, and stretching. Check with an instructor or the front desk staff and find out which classes will be right for you!!

STEP

Challenge yourself by stepping up and down onto an adjustable 4” to 12”. Upper body arm movement is added to intensify the workout. A great cardio workout! Step is done horizontally or vertically.

STEP/SCULPT

A step class followed by a group of exercises to strengthen and tone specific areas. The sculpting is done with cable, dynabands, exercise bands, hand weights, or one’s own body resistance

FLOOR

A great cardio workout a step combining high and low impact moves on the floor. Set to great music, this class is fun!

DUO STEP

An exciting step class utilizing more than one step platform. This class is for anyone because you can use a 4” step up to a 12” step.

STEP UNISON

CIRCUIT

This is an interval class involving stepping for approximately 4 minutes, alternating with approximately 1 1/2 or more minutes of upper or lower body conditioning that works one or more basic muscle groups. This may be with or without resistance equipment. It gives a great balance of cardiovascular and strength training.

STEP CIRCUIT

A combination of step and/or traditional floor an/or muscle endurance training designed to work the total body. Very interesting because of the varieties of change in class.

MUSCLE MANIA

A weight training workout set to high energy music, designed to tone and define each muscle group. This class will teach you proper techniques in lifting and working with weights.

CORE STRENGTH TRAINING

This class will cover balance and toning with an opportunity to strengthen the core. We will begin with a warm up, a short cardio workout, and then an emphasis of abdominals, back, and gluteal. A variety of equipment will be used.

HATHA YOGA

Gain fluidity of movement, calmness, and a sense of balance in your mind and body. As one of the oldest and most powerful systems of self health, yoga uses stretching,

PILATES

Using controlled breathing, body resistance, and sustained balancing movements, you will transform your body into the lean and shapely figure you have always wanted by increasing your overall strength.

BODY BAR/STRENGTH

TRAINING

This class is a combination of exercises using the new body bar (9 or 12 pound weighted bar) for cardio and strengthening. The body bar will challenge you like never before.

POWER PACT

An easy to follow low impact, but powerful workout utilizing many cardio kickboxing moves, alternating with sculpting and an aerobic moves.
